About me

Hi, I’m Steph!

I’m a physical therapist turned medical communications and learning design professional. I draw on my 7+ years of clinical, teaching, and research experience to develop compelling and evidence-based healthcare content.

I have been practicing as a physical therapist since 2016. Since the beginning, education has always been my favourite part of the job – whether it is teaching patients about their conditions and guiding them through a treatment plan, or teaching students in the clinic or classroom.

In 2018, I began my PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Toronto with the goal of enhancing entry-level training in pelvic health physical therapy. Here, I developed a passion for learning design by studying how curriculum developers make decisions and incorporate emerging content into healthcare professional programs.

I am now excited to offer CME/CE and healthcare consumer writing services to help organizations identify and bridge knowledge gaps for healthcare professionals and patients.

Outside of work, I like spending my time doing creative and digital arts. I am also currently training my cat Frankie to do tricks, and it’s going better than expected.

How can I help your organization?
